Shri Krishna Leela refers to the divine life stories and miraculous pastimes of Lord Krishna, who is considered the Supreme Personality of Godhead in Hindu tradition. The term “Leela” means divine play, which signifies that Krishna’s actions are not ordinary human deeds, but transcendental acts performed to spread love, joy, and spiritual wisdom.

• Birth Leela – Lord Krishna appeared in Mathura, in the prison of King Kansa, to Devaki and Vasudeva, with the divine purpose of destroying evil and protecting righteousness.

• Childhood Leelas – In Gokul and Vrindavan, young Krishna performed enchanting pastimes: stealing butter, playing with his friends, endearing the Gopis with his flute, and protecting the villagers by killing demons like Putana, Shakatasura, and taming the serpent Kaliya.

• Govardhan Leela – To protect the people of Braj from Indra’s anger and torrential rains, Krishna lifted the Govardhan Hill on his little finger for seven days, showing his divine power and care.

• Rasa Leela – The most celebrated pastime where Krishna danced with the Gopis of Vrindavan, symbolizing the eternal bond of love between the soul and the Supreme Lord.

• Mathura and Dwarka Leelas – Krishna killed Kansa, established peace, ruled in Dwarka, and became a guide and protector to the Pandavas.

• Mahabharata & Gita – On the battlefield of Kurukshetra, Krishna served as Arjuna’s charioteer and delivered the Bhagavad Gita, teaching humanity the essence of duty, devotion, and selfless action.

Through these Leelas, Lord Krishna showed that God descends not only to destroy evil but also to spread love, uphold dharma (righteousness), and guide souls towards spiritual liberation

श्रीकृष्ण लीला भगवान श्रीकृष्ण के दिव्य जीवन, बाल्यकाल, युवावस्था और उनके अद्भुत कार्यों का वर्णन है। “लीला” का अर्थ है—ईश्वर द्वारा किया गया वह दिव्य खेल, जो भक्तों को आनंद और शिक्षा प्रदान करता है।

• जन्म लीला – जब कंस ने अत्याचार किए, तब भगवान ने मथुरा की कारागार में देवकी और वसुदेव के घर जन्म लिया।

• बाल्य लीला – गोकुल और वृंदावन में बालकृष्ण की चंचलता, माखन-चोरी, गोपियों संग क्रीड़ा, पूतना-वध, शकटासुर-वध, कालीय नाग का दमन आदि।

• गोवर्धन लीला – जब इन्द्र देवता ने ब्रजवासियों पर क्रोधित होकर वर्षा की, तब कृष्ण ने अपनी छोटी ऊँगली पर गोवर्धन पर्वत उठाकर सबकी रक्षा की।

• रस लीला – वृंदावन की रात्रियों में गोपियों के साथ रास नृत्य, जिसमें भक्त और भगवान का परम मिलन दर्शाया गया है।

• मथुरा और द्वारका लीला – कंस-वध, पांडवों की सहायता, महाभारत युद्ध में अर्जुन को गीता का उपदेश।

इन लीलाओं के माध्यम से भगवान कृष्ण ने धर्म की स्थापना, अधर्म का नाश और भक्तों को परम प्रेम एवं भक्ति का मार्ग दिखाया।
