संत-अंङ्क/ Sant Anka

Description

• In Sanskrit and Hindi, the word “Anka” (अङ्क) means lap, embrace, shelter, nearness, or being seated close.

• When combined with “Sant”, the term “Sant Anka” signifies:

  • Sitting in the lap of a saint

  • Taking refuge in a saint

  • Living under the shelter and guidance of saints

Spiritual Significance:

1. Just as a child feels safe, secure, and carefree in the lap of its mother, in the same way a devotee feels protected, guided, and spiritually uplifted in the company and grace of saints.

2. “Sant Anka” symbolizes the state of surrender where a seeker entrusts their life to the guidance of saints and walks the path of truth and devotion.

3. It is a symbolic expression of safety, compassion, and divine closeness under the saint’s shelter.

भगवत्कृपा से कल्याण का प्रकाशन ईस्वी सन 1926 से लगातार हो रहा है। इस पत्रिका के आद्य संपादक नित्यलीलालीन भाईजी श्री हनुमान प्रसाद जी पोद्दार थे। कल्याण के प्रथम अंक में प्रकाशित संपादकीय वक्तव्य पठन सामग्री में उधृत है।

इसमें उच्चकोटि के अनेक संतों; प्राचीन, अर्वाचीन, मध्ययुगीन एवं कुछ विदेशी भगद्विश्वासी महापुरुषों तथा त्यागी वैरागी महात्माओं के ऐसे आदर्श जीवन-चरित्र हैं, जो पारमार्थिक गतिविधियों के लिये प्रेरित करने के साथ-साथ उनके सार्वभौमिक सिद्धान्तों, त्याग-वैराग्यपूर्ण तपस्वी जीवन-शैली को उजागर करके उच्चकोटि के पारमार्थिक आदर्श जीवन-मूल्यों को रेखांकित करते हैं।
