भारतीय संस्कृति और इसके उत्कृष्ट आदर्शों का हमेशा पालन किया जाना चाहिए और हमेशा आशीर्वाद के लिए अनुकूल होते हैं। हमारे देश के न केवल ईश्वर-प्राप्त पुरुषों बल्कि महान महिलाओं ने भी अपने उत्कृष्ट नैतिकता और आदर्श चरित्रों से दुनिया को आलोकित किया है। इस प्रकार इन पूज्यनीयों का चरित्र हमेशा मनमोहक होता है। वे महिलाओं के लिए प्रकाश के स्तंभ हैं और इसलिए उनके लिए मार्गदर्शक भी हैं।

इस पुस्तक में ऐसी चार महान महिलाओं-सीताजी, कुंती, द्रौपदी और गांधारी का आदर्श चरित्र है। यहाँ इन पात्रों का वर्णन पूज्य स्वर्गीय श्री जयदयाल गोयन्दका ने किया है। कुछ साल पहले, इन पात्रों को अलग-अलग हिंदी में ‘कल्याण’ के विभिन्न संस्करणों में प्रकाशित किया गया था, जिसे व्यापक रूप से स्वीकार और सराहा गया था। उपयोगिता और सुविधा को ध्यान में रखते हुए, अब इन सभी पात्रों को  “आदर्श देवीयाँ” नामक एक पुस्तक में प्रकाशित किया जा रहा है।

हालांकि यह पुस्तक सभी के लिए उपयोगी है लेकिन विशेषकर माताओं, बहनों और लड़कियों को इससे अधिक लाभ होगा। ये केवल पढ़ने के लिए कहानियां नहीं हैं बल्कि हमारे व्यावहारिक जीवन में हर कदम पर आत्मसात और अनुसरण की जाने वाली कहानियां हैं। ऐसा करने से प्रत्येक परिवार, घर स्वर्ग के समान सुख का स्थान बन जाएगा।
