Description

The significance of worshipping the goddess of knowledge. Saraswati Puja is celebrated every year on the fifth day of the waxing moon of the Nepali month of Magh. Vasant Panchami, also called Saraswati Puja in honor of the Hindu goddess Saraswati, is a festival that marks the preparation for the arrival of spring. The festival is celebrated by people of Dharmic religions in the Indian subcontinent and Nepal in different ways depending on the region.
An idol of Maa Saraswati should be placed in the West southwest as the zone represents education. Now coming to religious paintings and representations, a picture or painting depicting Sagar Manthan should be placed in the East-southeast direction.
