Description
Here is a Pictorial Ramayana
🌅 1. Dasharatha’s Kingdom – Ayodhya
A golden sunrise bathes the majestic city of Ayodhya, where domes and spires shimmer in the light. The streets are filled with cheerful people, musicians, merchants, and decorated elephants. King Dasharatha, regal and kind, rules from a grand palace with his three queens: Kaushalya, Kaikeyi, and Sumitra.
🧘 2. The Birth of Rama and Brothers
In the palace courtyard, the queens are seen joyfully holding four baby boys — Rama, Lakshmana, Bharata, and Shatrughna — while sages bless them. Rama radiates calmness and divinity even as a baby.
🏹 3. Rama Breaks the Bow
Inside the royal court of King Janaka, mighty warriors fail to lift Shiva’s bow. Young Rama, serene and confident, lifts and breaks the bow with ease. Princess Sita, watching from the balcony, is overcome with joy.
👑 4. Rama’s Exile
On the palace steps, Rama dressed in simple forest attire, stands with Sita and Lakshmana beside him. The people of Ayodhya weep. Queen Kaikeyi watches silently as Rama leaves, fulfilling her harsh boon. King Dasharatha lies in grief-stricken sorrow.
🌲 5. Life in the Forest
A peaceful forest scene shows the trio — Rama, Sita, and Lakshmana — living in a small hut, surrounded by deer and birds. They live simply, with Rama and Lakshmana protecting sages and defeating demons like Tataka.
😈 6. The Abduction of Sita
A golden deer lures Sita away from their hut. Ravana, disguised as a sage, stands at the threshold. As Sita crosses the Lakshmana Rekha, he reveals his true form — a ten-headed demon — and abducts her in his flying chariot, while the vulture Jatayu fights valiantly.
🐵 7. Alliance with Hanuman and Sugriva
In the monkey kingdom of Kishkindha, Rama befriends Hanuman and Sugriva. Hanuman bows before Rama with folded hands, while Rama places his hand on Hanuman’s head, blessing him.
🌊 8. Building the Bridge to Lanka
On the shores of the ocean, monkeys, bears, and other creatures build the Rama Setu — a massive stone bridge across the sea. Huge rocks float due to Rama’s name written on them, and Hanuman leads the charge.
🔥 9. The Battle in Lanka
A fierce war rages. Rama shoots arrows that emit divine light, while Ravana, in his war chariot, counters with dark magic. Hanuman soars through the sky carrying the Sanjeevani mountain to save Lakshmana. The skies are ablaze with celestial weapons.
🕊️ 10. Return to Ayodhya and Coronation
Rama, Sita, and Lakshmana return in the Pushpaka Vimana. Ayodhya is lit with lamps and flowers. In a grand ceremony, Rama is crowned king, sitting on a golden throne beside Sita, as people cheer with joy and Hanuman bows at their feet.
