Lord Brahma – The Creator of the Universe
Lord Brahma is one of the principal deities in Hinduism and forms the Trimurti (trinity) along with Lord Vishnu (the Preserver) and Lord Shiva (the Destroyer). He is known as the creator of the universe and all living beings.
Origin and Significance:

According to Hindu scriptures, Lord Brahma was born from a lotus that emerged from the navel of Lord Vishnu, signifying that creation originates from preservation.

He is considered the first born and the source of all knowledge, time, space, and the Vedas.
Appearance:

Four Heads: Lord Brahma is depicted with four heads, each facing a different direction, symbolizing his omniscience and ability to see in all directions. The four heads also represent the four Vedas – Rigveda, Yajurveda, Samaveda, and Atharvaveda.

Four Arms: He has four arms, each holding one of the following:

A Vedas book – representing knowledge,

A kamandalu (water pot) – representing creation,

A rosary (mala) – symbolizing time and meditation,

A lotus – representing purity and the source of creation.

He is often shown seated on a lotus or riding a swan (Hamsa), which stands for wisdom and discernment.

His consort is Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of wisdom, knowledge, music, and arts.

Together, they represent the union of intellect (Brahma) and wisdom (Saraswati) necessary for creation.

Unlike other major Hindu gods, Lord Brahma is rarely worshipped, and there are very few temples dedicated to him.
