“Attaining God is not difficult” — this profound truth has been repeatedly expressed in the scriptures, including the Bhagavad Gita, the Puranas, and by saints and sages throughout time. God does not reside in some far and inaccessible realm; rather, He is present within the heart of every living being. The real difficulty lies not in reaching God, but in overcoming the impurities of our own mind — attachment, ego, and ignorance. When the heart becomes pure, filled with faith and love, God-realization comes naturally and effortlessly.
Saints declare that God considers every soul to be His own part, His beloved. Therefore, He is always eager to embrace the devotee who turns toward Him with sincerity. If a seeker takes just one step toward God, He takes a hundred steps toward the seeker and brings him into His divine protection.
Simple Ways to Attain God

Chanting His Holy Name: Remembering God through heartfelt repetition of His divine names.

Pure Devotion (Bhakti): Worshipping God with selfless love and without any material expectation.

Holy Association (Satsang): Keeping the company of saints who help purify the mind.

Compassion and Service: Serving others as a form of serving God Himself.

Faith and Surrender: Offering one’s ego, pride, and intellect at the feet of God.
When these ways are followed with sincerity, one begins to feel God’s presence in daily life — peace of mind, equality in joy and sorrow, and a heart overflowing with love. These are the true signs of divine realization
भगवत्-प्राप्ति कठिन नहीं है — यह सत्य गीता, पुराणों और संत-मतों द्वारा बार-बार प्रतिपादित किया गया है। भगवान किसी दूर, अगम्य स्थान में नहीं अपितु हमारे हृदय में ही निवास करते हैं। कठिनाई भगवान तक पहुँचने में नहीं, बल्कि हमारे मन के विकारों, आसक्तियों और अहंकार में है। जब मन निर्मल होता है, श्रद्धा और प्रेम प्रबल होता है, तब भगवान की प्राप्ति सहज ही हो जाती है।
संत-महात्मा कहते हैं कि भगवान तो प्रत्येक जीव को अपना ही अंश मानते हैं; अतः वे अपने भक्त को पाने के लिए सदैव उत्कंठित रहते हैं। यदि मनुष्य एक कदम भगवान की ओर बढ़े, तो भगवान सौ कदम आगे बढ़कर उसे अपने सान्निध्य में ले लेते हैं।
भगवत्-प्राप्ति के सरल उपाय—

नाम-स्मरण : भगवान के नाम का सच्चे हृदय से जप करना।

भक्ति-भाव : निष्काम और निस्वार्थ प्रेम से भगवान की आराधना।

सत्संग : संतों की संगति में रहकर मन को शुद्ध करना।

सेवा : जीव-सेवा ही ईश्वर-सेवा है; दया और करुणा का आचरण।

श्रद्धा और समर्पण : अपनी बुद्धि और अहंकार को भगवान के चरणों में अर्पित करना।
जब मनुष्य इन मार्गों पर चलता है, तो भगवान की अनुभूति उसे अपने जीवन में होने लगती है — सुख-दुःख समान, मन शांत, हृदय प्रेम से पूर्ण। यही भगवत्-प्राप्ति की पहचान है।
अतः निष्कर्ष यही है कि—
भगवत्-प्राप्ति कठिन नहीं, मन की शुद्धि कठिन है।
और जब मन शुद्ध हो जाए, तो भगवान स्वयं सामने प्रकट हो जाते हैं
