पवित्र ब्रह्मपुत्र जल /Holy Brahmaputra River Water(Collected at Parshuram Kund, Arunachal Pradesh)

परशुराम कुंड से निकला ब्रह्मपुत्र का जल अत्यंत पवित्र माना जाता है। कथा के अनुसार, विष्णु के छठे अवतार परशुराम ने मातृहत्याकांड के पाप से मुक्ति पाने के लिये इस स्थान पर कठोर तपस्या की; जब उन्होंने अपने हाथ को इस ठंडे जल में डुबोया, तो उनका परशु (अक्ष) गिर गया और जल हमेशा के लिये पवित्र हो गया । यह कुंड ब्रह्मपुत्र (लोहित) के पहाड़ी तट पर स्थित है, और इसमें स्नान करने से सभी पाप धुल जाते हैं, मोक्ष की प्राप्ति होती है और अश्वमेध यज्ञ का फल मिलता है । विशेषकर मकर संक्रांति के अवसर पर देश‑भर के भक्त यहाँ आकर इस पवित्र जल को संग्रहित करते हैं, जो त्रिमूर्ति (ब्रह्मा‑विष्णु‑महेश) की शुद्धि शक्ति को धारण करता है और दिव्य रक्षा प्रदान करता है ।

The water of the Brahmaputra that flows from Parshuram Kund is revered as a divine elixir. According to the legend, the sixth avatar of Vishnu, Parashurama, performed severe penance at this spot to cleanse himself of the sin of matricide; when he immersed his hand in the icy pool, his axe fell away and the waters became eternally sanctified . The Kund is situated on the Brahmaputra (Lohit) plateau, and a dip in its waters is believed to wash away all impurities, grant moksha, and bestow the merit of an Aśvamedha sacrifice . Pilgrims, especially during Makar Sankranti, come from across India to collect this holy water, which is said to embody the purifying essence of the Trimurti (Brahma‑Vishnu‑Shiva) and to radiate divine protection .
